When you sleep, breathe and eat with just one goal in mind; the probability of success increases drastically.
And when you keep performing a particular activity all the time, snowball effect occurs.
If you keep working as a painter, you’ll meet lots of people related with painting. You’ll have solid base of networks with painters over time. The more and more you keep at it, the more you grow as a painter. You’ll start to bring in new opportunities related to painting through your strong network. It’s all possible when you keep up at what you do.
If you work at bank, most of your network will be related with banking. You will have banking friends and all. With time, it’ll be easier for you to progress as a banker.
Whatever you do has a snowball effect. Your network keeps increasing in that particular niche.
In the same way, if you create friends with similar belief of yours, you’ll eventually end up with lots of their mutual friends. And then, you’ll have friends who possess your belief system. This is important especially if you want to be happy and succeed at what you do.
If you create friends who don’t have similar belief as your’s, you’ll start to create more of them. And you’ll eventually start to think your belief isn’t coherent; or that it sucks. And you start to believe that you can’t achieve your goals.
I don’t like religion, but if I keep staying with religious people, I’ll get dragged into their reality.
Most of my goals are crazy. If I keep staying with people who believe that I can’t accomplish it, then I’ll start to believe the same.
If I had not met Niall, I’d still be thinking that I won’t be able to make a living on the Internet and I’d have to work a regular 9 to 5 job.
So, pause and see people besides you. Are they people who hold your belief, who would support you, who would be happy to see you succeed? If no, you better change it.
