It makes more sense to consult people who’ve recently been on the same road block as you are about to face, instead of consulting people who’ve already reached the top of ladder.
I’d rather read and follow people I know and who I can help instead of following successful people who I can’t even get to talk with.
I find myself following people who I can approach because I can interact with them and help both of us. Instead of consuming lots of information from people who I can’t approach and not take action, I’d rather approach people who I can approach and interact more. Interacting helps us take action. Hence, enabling both of us to actually succeed.
Only consider taking advice from people who have reached top of the ladder. Befriend people who are two steps ahead of you. Lift people who are two steps behind you.
