Snapchat or YouTube for Vlogging

Right now, I'm thinking of posting my snapchat stories here on the blog. That way I'll also have some videos to share. It will be like my journals. I like the idea of Vlogging, but it consumes lots of time. So, instead, I could think of using Snapchat in the beginning. After I'm comfortable talking,…

The Paradox of Our Times

The paradox of our times
Is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers
Wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints
We spend more, but we have less.

We have bigger houses, but smaller families
More conveniences, but less time.
We have more degrees, but less sense
More knowledge, but less judgement
More experts, but more problems
More medicines, but less wellness.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often
We have learnt how to make a living, but not a life.
We have added years to life, but not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back
But have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbour.
We have conquered outer space, but not inner space.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted our soul.
We've split the atom, but not our prejudice.
We've higher incomes, but lower morals.
We've become long on quantity but short on quality.

These are the times of tall men, and short character;
Steep profits, and shallow relationships.
These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare,
More leisure, but less fun; more kinds of food, but less nutrition.

These are the days of two incomes, but more divorces;
Of fancier houses, but broken homes.
It is a time when there is much in the show window, and nothing in the stockroom.

A time when technology can bring this letter to you,

And a time when you can choose,

Either to make a difference .... or just hit, delete.

What Really Matters For Winning

Some people get angry before they even start fight in boxing. If you play to feed your ego or your anger, then what’s the point in winning? You’ve lost the game before you even play it. I’m guilty myself for trying to win Football/Basketball match to feed my ego. Or to show the other team…

They Were All Running For Their Lives

My life was normal before the earthquake, which occurred on 25th April, 2015. I used to work on my laptop, write, program, and do other necessary stuff. I would wake up, use the laptop, sleep, eat and do the same thing again. I used to stay at home all the time. On 25th April, a…

Back After The Earthquake

Sincere apologies for not being able to update my blog. It's been a long time since I last wrote a post. After the 7.9 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal, I was living outside for more than 72+ hours. It disrupted my writing schedule and everything else. Today I'm back after the earthquake. I'm pretty glad to…

Trust The Instinct

While I sit down to write, I am trying to complete a daunting task. A task to write on a blank sheet of paper. We don't always have ideas hovering in our mind, especially when we're about to write something. Previously when I fell behind on blogging, I avoided writing anything for this reason. I…

Without it, relationship will be a failure. In the story of Musashi, Musashi has a coherent life goal of becoming the greatest swordsmen of all time. But he…

Lessons From Three Major Brain Surgery

I was surfing reddit when I saw an AMA (Ask Me Anything) of a guy who had three major brain surgery in three months. Most people don’t survive those. But he did. I read his thread and noticed one sentence where he states that if he’d be normal again then he’d travel the world. He…
